Dentaurus duunailee: Mennyttä, olevaa ja tulevaa

Vuosi 2014 on jo reilusti korkattu, ja edellisestä postauksesta hyvän aikaa. Blogin hiljaisuuteen on parikin eri syytä. Enstekskin mietin edelleen jatkuvasti koko blogin pitoa, voisin tän kyllä lopettaakin, mutta olen nyt täällä tänään. Toiseks, on ollu aika vähän mitään kerrottavaa. Ja kolmanneks, henkilökohtaisessa elämässä on tapahtunut muutos, vaihdoin työpaikkaa pari viikkoa sitten ja se on vieny ajatuksista tilaa. - Mutta, viime vuosi, en tee siitä sen kummempaa yhteenvetoa kuin että tavoite kahdestatoista huivista vuoden aikana täyttyi ja ylittyi, se oli kivaa ja that's all folks sit siitä. Uus vuos ja uudet jutut, tänä vuonna ei tule kahtatoista huivia, mut onhan jotain tavoitteita oltava, muuten kehitys pysähtyy. Joten tavoite on tehdä, neuloa tai virkata (tai jotain), tänä vuonna 14 projektia joissa käytän itse kehräämääni lankaa. Mitä ne projektit tulee olemaan, sen näyttää aika. Toinen tavoite on kehrätä nämä laatikossa kuvassa näkyvät kuidut langoiksi. On sitä työssäkäyvälle äiti-ihmiselle tossakin hommaa...

Year 2014 is on go and there has been silent in blog this far. The silence has some explanations. Once again I have discussed with me myself and I about reasons for this blog and I've thought that I can close this down, but at least here I am now. And then there has been quite few things to blog about. And for third thing, I've changed work place and that has been in my mind more than hand crafts. - So, last year my goal was to make 12 shawls and I did that, in fact I made more than twelve of them, so that's all about last year, goal completed. This year I won't make twelve shawls I know, even if those are lovely to make in general. But I need to aim at something, and this year I try to finish 14 projects in which I use my handspun yarns. What kind of projects those will be the time will tell. The other goal is to spin the fibers in box in picture below into yarns. So, that's some goal for a working mom I think...

Vuoden 2013 viimeiset projektit oli pipo pojalleni (mun Ravelryn projektisivu) ja Barbien vaatteita pienemmälle neidille (mun Ravelryn projektisivu). Vuoden 2014 eka valmistunut projekti oli lapaset pojalle (mun Ravelryn projektisivu), ja siinä tuli käytettyä itse kehrättyä lankaa, samaa kuin pipossa. Tein niistä kaksinkertaset, kiitti siitä hyvästä vinkistä neulekamulleni Hepsille, onnistu oikeestaan tosi hyvin ja yks kuva myös siis "nurjalta" eli sisäpuolelta. Pyssy ei erotu niin hyvin kuin olisi halunnu, mutta kun nuori herra ite valkkas värit, eikä suostunu mihin kään kompromisseihin, niin kontrasti jä mun makuun vähän heikoks.
Kuvia kaikista tässä ihan tulvaksi asti. Joulun jälkeen kuvatuissa pipokuvissa maa on musta, mut sitte tuli taas valkeus ja hauskoja jää- ja lumimuodostelmia...

Last projects of 2013 were a beanie for my son (my Ravelry project page) and Barbie clothes for younger daughters doll (my Ravelry project page). Year 2014 I started with mittens for my son (my Ravelry project page) and in those I used my handspun yarn, the same yarn that're used in beanie. I made them double-sided and in one pic the mitten is photoed inside out. Thanks for the double-side-knitting tip to my knitting friend Hepsi. My son chose the colours for mittens himself and I would have wanted the gun to be more visible with darker yarn, but he insisted on that particular brown, so that's it. The beanie pics I took just after Christmas and there's no snow, but in January we got some snow again and funny icicles and flakes. And below a flood of pics about those all.

Joulun alla alotin ikuisuuskehruun ja sitä riitti alkaneen vuoden puolelle, wensleydalea, joka ei sitte osottautunu mun lemppariks ollenkaan ja lankakin on, noooo, aika rumaa mun mielestä, katotaan mitä siitä sit ja koska... (mun Ravelryn kehruuprojektisivu).

Before Christmas I started a spinning project that lasted for ever, and it lasted to this year. It's wensleydale fiber which is not my favourite at all. And the finished yarn, wellllllll, ugly it is in my opinion. Let's see how it works out and when... (my Ravelry spinning project page).

Joulupukki toi mulle uuden kameran, osa kuvista on otettu sillä ja opettelen nyt järkkärielämään. Kuvaaminen on itse asiassa taas tosi kivaa... Kivaa viikonloppua teille kaikille, pus!
